About Outlook Planning and Development

A Little About Us

We are a family owned and run business and proud to have humble roots with our office originally being our kitchen table. Fast forward a few years now and we have become a fast growing and well known consultancy that services all of NSW.

We know that the Council approval process can be daunting and that town planning seems to confusing! It is our goal to make town planning simple for everyone!

What is Outlook Planning and Development

We see beyond what is in front of us and are able to see the “outlook” of the development. This is what makes us unique as we like to work with our clients to ensure that their developments get over the line with minimal delays. Your dreams become our dreams and we become invested in you obtaining that approval!

Why Outlook Planning and Development

We have extensive experience in development assessment and strategic planning with our planners having worked at high levels within Councils around Sydney and Newcastle and within the private sector. Having worked on both sides of the planning table our planners know the ins and outs of handling the development process through the gauntlet that is Council. We know how to navigate all the relevant legislation and our speciality is finding loop holes or “Creative” planning ways to gain approval.

We get developments approved where others fail!

We value customer service over anything, and our planners will always provide you with updates as your application progresses so that you will always know the status of your application.

We value a fast turn around for all our reports as we know that time delays cost money for our clients and as a result we work to a very fast paced and regimented clock and will always deliver on time.

We provide flat rate prices for all our services and will always beat quotes of our competition. We keep our overheads low so that you can save money to put towards your development.

We have a long running and very good relationships with numerous local Councils and government departments which we regularly rely on to help our customers.

Experience matters!

Our Principal Planner has a wealth of experience starting his career working from the ground up at a prominent Sydney Council before transitioning into a management role coordinating the whole planning and compliance area of Council. After several years working in Local Government Planning he made the jump to the private planning world and achieved great results working on large scale projects that broadened his skills and knowledge. All this has culminated in a diverse skillset with a deep knowledge of the processes and workings of Council and the ability to find innovative approaches to developments that help our clients gain approval where others fail. It was his passion for dealing with clients combined with over 10 years experience that lead him to create Outlook Planning and Development.
